When you wanted to be pink and ended up a darker shade of blue

Ho hum, it was supposed to be a “pinkly” productive day – tieing up loose ends – finalising outstanding matters – wielding the work broom.

Not

It was a day awash with blueness – dim people (really I promise, no pretty adjective – just dim), really slow computers (4 desk tops and a laptop – how is that even possible), a website for online submissions of regulatory documents that is obviously being driven by a water wheel …………..

I did loudly proclaim to all who would listen that 10.30am was not too early for a glass of Kanonkop cab sav with snacks – no takers *sniff*. On a good note though – proof of baking

Best new topping for said bread – sliced avo with a twist of salt and a smidge of black pepper. Gloriously good.

  1. I’m sure there’s a problem with the Telkom lines all over. Our connection at work and at home is as slow as a snail winding it’s way through treacle.
*sigh* you should have called; I would have rushed to join you for a glass or three, I kept telling people to ‘focus’!
Your bread looks heavenly, definitely going to get myself a packet this weekend 🙂
