This gorgeous beast, who caught my eye while out and about with DH in the hills of the Northern Drakensberg this afternoon. Silently going about its business and looking like an expert web weaver, it presents quite a fearsome sight!

      Apologies for dreadfully late response. The majority of ours are poisonous and usually the more vivid the colors the more deadly the poison – enough said! Have really been enjoying your photographic blog -fabulous stuff 🙂

  1. Eeeek! Apologies, Bandsmoke…sleep posting once more. It’s been a bit hectic as you can imagine. But I love your fearless take on spiders. I think they are beautiful creatures.
